Hacking DP-500 PC-Link

I was just about to start reverse engineering the DP-500 PC-LINK protocol when I found this, the OpenDP-500 project. It seems like the protocol is totally http based and open-dp500 has already done the job for me in figuring out which commands are used.
My next project is then to write a real-time Divx3->Divx5 converter.

  1. An apache module would probably work just great but you are barking up the wrong tree with me. I am a Java fanatic and has been so since the time it was called Oak (like Java alpha 1).
The code was very simple to decode and one filed contained the protocol itself (in code). Very easy to read though. Take a look even if you don’t know Java.
You can add wifi support today via an ethernet-wifi adapter.

  2. Hallo,
I read here something about a web apache modul for the dp-500.
Can you send me more information or a link?
    thx
    Stefan
