Yesterday I got the SIP – PSTN connection to work! Woohoo, now I can phone people from my computer and include their voice in my favorite E-Meeting software. The SIP-stack used is the NIST-SIP and the PSTN gateway is DigiSip.

Läckert. Jag vill också 😉
Where did you buy the gateway? Please e-mail me at vjsinha@yahoo.com
Hi Dr Pepper,
I am very keen in the SIP-PSTN gateway……..You got it working……can you tell me how it is done and what kind of hardware is needed?……If only purely software……that will be great.

It was all done in software. I used the sip-stack mentioned in the original posting (NIST-SIP) which today is the official JavaDev JainSIP stack. As the PSTN gateway I used a commercial operator, DigiSip. Not mouch more info than in the original posting so please ask further questions….
